Bad mother
Monday
Saturday was me, eating alone.
But Sunday.
Gosh…kenyang makan beb!
Had buffet hi-tea at Promenade hotel which by the way I think, is still the best hi-tea spread in town.
No offend to those who are regulars to Hyatt’s and Sutera Pan Pacific’s. (I love Pan Pac’s fresh seafood spread tho’)
Not mentioning Tanjung Aru Beach’s Tatu here cos that place is wayyyyy over my budget. *hee*
Right after the hi-tea, I followed hubby to Yayasan Sabah to attend the closing ceremony for the Inter Varsities Sports Carnival.
Just to show that I am a Sabahan, took picture with the building itself…not that I should even tell about it lah *big grin*
Then, had dinner at Gaya Seafood Restaurant in Inanam on the occasion of my godchild’s 1st birthday.
She will actually turn one on the 30th but since it falls on weekdays, the parents decided to celebrate her birthday in advance.
Speaking of my godchild, I’ve been a terrible godmother lah.
Baby Sam didn’t even want to look at me. Turned her face away from me when I tried to hold her.
*that’s what happened when you seldom visit her, Chegu*
Godmother konon.
Oh well, I’ll try my best next time soon.
My prayers for baby Sam’s well being in her years of growing up will always be with her.
If I can’t be there for her physically, at least I’ll always be there for her spiritually.
Is that enough?

I was put to obliviousness seeing the fresh steamed prawns and special white clams (sapak) cooked with sliced ginger.
OMG! I didn’t even blink to think of my minor allergy to seafood.
Who cares!
*Rigggght…who cares lah kau sekarang. See if you still say that when Mr. Boils come visiting*
By the way, I never actually succeeded with my one week trial to abstain from seafood.
Cannot tahan woh!

The one last piece tu slalu ada saja orang malu2 mau ambik.. But if in my family memang lesap la.. But kalau with friends, kenyang konon! LOL!
I never tried hi-tea at Promenade. Our family are Hyatt people just because we get discount. Tapi memang ndak best telampau pun.. Hehe..
FYI, the 2nd last piece was taken by me. LOL! I sengaja kasi tinggal one. I don’t remember who finished that last piece.

My favorite hi-tea place is STAR.. because my uncle has a share there, so whenever we makan over there, we get cheaper price.
Promenade is the one place I go to when I’m in need of dessert!
Yaaa…dessert in Promenade, me likey too!
And oh…next time u come back to KK, sound2 awal ah..so that buli pinjam bawa you go to STAR. Can get discount right? LOL!

I miss everything about Sabah. The blue sky, the air, the food…Anyways, I’m soooooo jealous you had a very nice Sunday. I was at home preparing my presentation for this Wednesday. Oh no..it’s tomorrow..aaaaaa!!!!!

Hehhehe…i’m right there with you Carol…i can never resist seafood…hmm…maybe i shud have that this Friday :))))
But maybe you don’t have allergy to seafood. So u can enjoy eating ‘em to the max. If me, always ada guilty trip bila mau makan dengan rangka nya…hahaha

Lama inda pigi makan buffet… macam mau pigi seja dis weekend, tapi di KL sia inda tau mana tempat yang best for buffet.
I’ve tried Promenade with my sis before, OK, pretty decent. I don’t mind going there again, maybe bila sia balik kampung nanti. My weakness is always the desserts… sighhh… cam mana mo kurus???!!
