It’s official!

November 17th, 2009

Tuesday 1307

They called the school yesterday.
And they called again this morning.
I wondered, ‘why the rush?’
So, I drove to their office this afternoon to collect the official letter.
I know I am gonna be transferred.
It’s just that, I am waiting for the official letter before I can completely trumpet my happiness to the world (although, I think I already did).
But, I didn’t expect it will be this fast.
I am asked to report duty on Dec 1st!!

OMG! I am not done with my ‘closing accounts’ work at school and now I have to rush to do my ‘Serah Tugas’.
Panic but at the same time, happy.
Of course I am!

Thank you to my friend EHM who introduced me to an officer at Penampang whom I later found out to be a friend, FBA. No words can describe my sincere thanks for your great help.
I owe you guys dinner lah bah ni kan?

PS: I did say that my new school is just 5 minutes drive from home, right? *bliss*

    Actually, if u have a car uself, it wont feel that lone and entertainment deprived bah while staying in Kgau. If u wana watch movie, just drive to KK…bukan jua jauh…1 and half hour ja kalau ikut kimanis…honestly, it’s not about having nothing in Kgau that force me to transfer. It’s bcos my better half is there in KK and you know how not good it is if one heart is divided into two for such a long time, right? :mrgreen:

    Yes Dena, I must agree with you. It is one of the best year end news and perhaps the best for the past 5 years.
    The school is next to the Sabah Cultural Hall saja bah :)

    congrats! 5 mins drive from your home? that’s a heaven sent luck :) well, speaking of your transfer, i’d be ‘transferring’ myself back to KK by next year. may 2010 actually. hmmmm..and begin the unemployed phase all over again (that’s a worrying thought) dunno but i’m getting tired of KL. KK beckons me quite persistently these days..i miss the laid back life, no heavy traffic, no road bullies, no rude people, no racist pigs.. :(

    Owh, u’re gonna be back for good? Well, coming back being unemployed is not something pleasing to the heart but at least you know thats what u want. coming back to where your root is and feeling good about it.
    ive never stayed in fast pace city like KL for more than 5 days so i wouldnt know how life is over there. but from what most ppl said, place like KK is yearning them home.
