Salsa Night!

I was a school dancer during high school years.
I am always enchanted by the traditional Sumazau beat.
My feet will start tapping whenever I listen to the music of Latino dance (blame Shakira), Salsa (blame Chayanne in Dance With Me) and reggae (blame Sean Paul).
So when I have the opportunity to attend an event that offers some basic Salsa moves… that’s like Heaven Sent!
This event was organized by Honey Bee of Cube Restaurant (located at City Mall, KK) and was already the second event. The first one was held at her restaurant.
Initially, I wasn’t going because of the Ex-SFX sports event that was held in Keningau on the same date.
But when Olie sent FB message telling she’s going, I was adamant to plot ways on how I would be able to attend the event.
And I did.
It was a tiring day (after the futsal game and having to drive back to KK at the same day) and I even felt like not going (since the event started at 9pm) but the moment we stepped in and the Salsa beat was playing, I felt rejuvenated. Ha!
Managed to learn basic salsa moves instructed by professional dance instructors from Dance With Me dance studio.
We stayed seated while looking at the rest learning the second and third basic salsa lessons.
Tried to practice the moves we saw but I was too ‘kongkang’ to remember the steps.
Tulah, tidak mau pigi on the floor when the lesson was conducted.
But I had fun nonetheless.

Haaha coincidence o because I call my darling Honey Bee ;D eniwei,Salsa is such a fun dance… everytime I see people do the dance, the always smile or laugh. The only dance I’ve done in my whole entire life is the Ballroom dance and the Mr. Bean dance (You know, the forward and backward ;D )
Whoaaa u did ballroom dance before? What was it? waltz?..i only know waltz and cha2 cos dulu masa kawin kena kasi wajib ni mesti pandai…hahaha

ermm….not sure bila the next one but my guess is next year kali..since this month kan busy Christmas and New Year.

siok ni mau pigi! i knew about this tp atas sebab2 yg sukar dielakkan, sa x jadi pigi.. hehe.. sa lupa2 suda daa salsa steps, kali next year mau join ballroom class lagi la nih..
ya..ya…sa pun bercita2 mo join dance class tapi savo sa pemalas mau pigi ikut class. dia lang, sendiri2 belajar pun buli bah..haha

Wah. Best o salsa. I like salsa and cha cha. Unfortunately, I don’t have contacts or anything that will bring me to such event. I also don’t have anyone to share this interest with. So what I do is learn it from YouTube and buat sorang2. Haha. But I have fun and I’m lovin’ it! Boleh burn fats juga ni kalo selalu buat

Salsa! Waw…i like!! pnya siok learn salsa ni kan…aiyaa kalau sa pun dgr lagu salsa, pun mcm mau menari oh..pandai ja nda ni. so good la u had the chance to learn… bah later ajar sa pula k…
hahaha…paling basic punya buli la…itu pun kalo ko belajar dr youtube lagi kali ko faham drpd minta ajaran sa…hehehe

buli tahan la kay..napa ko tida on the floor..ngam lg tu baju ko tu…waaaahhhh mesti seksi tu kan menari salsa…
haha…tia pandai bah nun. malu eh. basic2 punya buli la…tapi bila yg tu expert2 suma on the floor, tus tia berani kami bediri. bermacam2 durang pnya dance moves. hehe
