Three posts each in July and Aug?
Wow! Really, that is a wow for me.
The sluggish phase I have ever been in my 6 years of blogging.

But sluggish no more!
I’m back on the track. I think.
Starting with what I have always been in love with…and what earlier readers of my blog have known me for….

SHOES!

It seems that my 12 pairs a year plan is some what achievable. Looking at the rate of shoe buys I did in the past 8 months, I think I’ve succeeded. Only SIX so far.

Just realized how similar in colors those shoes I bought…

I have toned down on the high heels by the way and more on flats.
Doesn’t do much high heels while working since I’m up on my feet all the time. It hurts my bunion so much to have it pressed and confined for long hours. But I do keep some working shoes with at least 2 inches tall.

Last week however, I tried to make use of those high heels that only worn occasionally to work. Guess what?

The sole of the heel broke to pieces.
Too long in the shoe racks without much in action I reckon.
A friend suggested that it’s about time to replace ‘em. But I have soft spot for shoes that are still good (and look good on me feet). They can be mended, I justified.

But then again that was an excellent suggestion.
I did buy a new pair of shoes.
A pair of flats.
A Crocs to be precise.
Well, still on their way to my door step lah.

Those pairs of Crocs have never failed me. I just love how comfy they feel and most important, they last really long. My first Crocs is 3 years old now and they are still wearable for another 3 years more! No kidding.

I know I’m gonna buy shoes for Christmas. That’s 4 months away. But hey, if I have to calculate my shoe purchases…I still have rooms to complete my 12 pairs a year plan. Ha!

    Me? I will only buy if I think any pair(s) of shoes caught my eyes, and most of the time yang unplanned punya! My choice of colours kalau bukan hitam, mesti white or brown. Anything of those shades :D Kalau pigi kerja I must use yang 3-4 inches punya heels/wedges abis si Annie ni kitut by nature, haruslah ada alternative lain untuk nampak tinggi dari students kehkehkeh

    I have to say that unplanned shoes yang paling siok…apa lagi kalo dapat good bargain haha…hmmm, kasut saya yang paling ceria is i think purple color and gold…lain2 semua either black or brown/beige….haha, nasib my kids semua tidak buli kalah tinggi sama saya..semua memang kitut2 masih

    Getting a matching colour to my outfit is in the plan. As you know la, the TAB gathering costume code in November :P. Then, to get a pair of flats for my year end family trip away from KK. So, 2 in plan. Hmm??….. I may need another as officewear ^_^V

    Ahh yes, the TAB gathering. I haven’t gather everything for my attire on that day but I do have an eye on some nice dresses online…. So basically, you buy shoes base on your needs. Any impromptu buy before? :mrgreen:

    hey i wanna start a 12 shoes plan too! this year mcm baru 2 sy beli, kalo yg sky high pny la. jarang sdh p kk ba ;p.

    My fellow shoe lover! I almost bought a pair today but Senjeev said do you REALLY need them? Then i felt guilty! dang it! It was beige coloured with hot pink insoles!!! how awesome is that!

    Fara, never bring men shopping for shoes if they don’t seem to approve. LOL! Now, go buy that awesome pair u spotted! :mrgreen:

    Love at 1st sight and as when needed. Am trying to reduce my bags & shoes shopping. Hubs sia sngtlah inda menyukung. Bikin samak ni rmh dia bilang..huhu…tul jugak lah…

    BTW, just like you, i’m only eyeing flat shoes at the moment. I really need flat shoe because sinang sa berjalan round2 di pejabat/ hospital. yaii.. ;)

    Well, not that I don’t look for high heels anymore but the need is not there yet…mau dekat2 TAB gathering baru mau cari juga tu :)

    wow banyak kasut.. sa nampak semua kan brown punya ni..n sa pn minat shade2 mcm ni juga… sebab natural senang mau masuk ni..so far sa beli kasut yang wedding sa seja ni..tu ja.tada lagi ni..he he tapi mau beli juga flat la… n tuk christmas pny

    Ya, senang match and then sesuai sama warna kulit kaki sa :) …kalo xmas, sure high heels punya dalam list sa.

    Sama mcm si just, my house also don’t have much space to buy shoes.. Sia pun minat flat/ballerina shoes.. Kalu yg heels sia pandai kasadu mo pakai ba..
    So far sia ni thn baru 4 pasang sia beli and my fave color is black and beige!

    LOL! Mo prektis jalan pakai kasut tinggi selalu tu tunung :)
    Black and beige are common colors sebab sinang match baju bah kan?

    I can never understand how ladies wear high heels.

    You know, I tried to wear one once, and it was the first and the last. Sikit lagi sia tebalik o time cuba. Baru satu kaki tu test. Hahaa.
