Music Monday: Sweet

I have decided to bring music (of my choice) to my Mondays. Not exactly into Music Monday meme but yeah, a Music Monday post.

Frente! one of my favourite bands from Australia.
Too bad the band members have gone separate ways in mid 90’s.


The latest release was Sweet (Try To Think Less) EP released in 2005 although only released in Australia.

I reckon this song is actually a depressing song, judging from the lyric but I just love the melody. Well, Frente! has this nick to make depressing songs sound so bright and cheery. You can go shake your head in accordance to the tune, feeling happy, not realizing it was actually a sad song.

I’m not a person who mind too much on the lyric though. As long as I feel good with the melody, it will forever repeating in my music playlist.

    OMFG I listens to Frente! too and I think I have I think 2 of the album cassette before and keep playing it. I think it started with Bizarre Love Triangle and I fell in love with it. Super best the music! Too bad yeah no more :( I still listens to it every now and then though hehe.

    Hi-5!!! Not many people around me listen to them you know. Ini band pun I happened to know from an OZ blogger friend back in 2006.
