Minpin the flipflop fan

My pension for flip flops and anything to do with selipar jepun started about few years back when I discovered that I actually enjoy the sun, sea and beaches wholeheartedly. Initially, I was only buying flip flops that look pretty and comfortable. But when I discovered Ipanema, all I want in a flip flop is a pair that bears the name Ipanema. Minta puji? Whatever. But I swear Ipanema’s a perfect choice for comfy, long lasting, durable wearing.
Unless.
You have these Miniature Pinschers at home as your pet.
And who happens to love flip flops too.
When I first bought my pairs of Ipanema, I got greedy and bought two pairs. I treasured them very much that I wore them in and out the house. But, like I said…having Minpin at home who fancy biting slippers particularly selipar jepun (I happened to be the only person wearing flip flops at home), they didn’t last a full term.
I bought another two pairs of the exact first two. Again, just few months old, one pair were chewed. I was able to hid the other pair from my Minpin’s viewing and remained my fav Ipanema.
Since I only had a pair left, I requested from my family members that they buy me nice flip flops for Christmas. That was 2010. But they all went into the same fate as the rest of my Ipanema’s.
Recently, I bought another pair of Ipanema online which is similar to my fav Ipanema design. I was a happy girl to be able to have more than one Ipanema pairs at one time again …
Until Bender, the smallest of my Minpin decided to cut off my happiness and ruined my fav Ipanema of all.
Sakit hatiiiiiiii….
Now, why do I still keep ‘em ruined flip flops?
If you see from the photos above, my dogs have the knack of chewing only one of the pair and keep the other for me to see and feel miserable. Even the chewed one still look as good if not for the fact that it has lost its functionality. So yeah, I’m still keeping them because I am hoping I can find solution to fix and wear them with pride again.

Banyak pula chegu punya interest-kan? I like the designs, lawa ni… maybe can use hot glue to glue part yang putus tu. mungkin nampak cam tampal sikit in the end xD
I love having so many interests…which is sometimes bad also bcos i tend to like one thing for a brief time then after that, kena kasi biar2 ja…i will see about that. thought of hot glue yes.

Sa pun suka ipanema pnya flip flop.. sangat comfy..n durable hubby n i love it! So far i only bought two pairs. More to come after this i guess hehe btw, new pair ko beli dr zalora ka?

Yabah noy, but i particularly love thie ipanema anatomica punya series…tu dia pnya sole kan ada masuk dalam sikit buli support tapak kaki…yang sa nampak kena jual di kedai skrg mostly yg flat berabis tapak dia…dan design/colors yg sa x brapa minat….yep, bought at zalora

kay ko pakai jak lain2 design. macam trend baitu sekarang. well kl org tanya bilang ” eh u dunno meh, kim kash, parish hils pakai begini baaa…” I think sooner or later sa pun mo pkai sepilar jepun suda ni, x size suda!!!! whuaaaaa….

oh tidak! sy pun ikut sakit hati ko. if me i will hit my dog using the slipper yg dorang gigit. tapi after that sy sayang2 dorang la. hehe
Oh! Ada tu sia buat gitu if I caught any of them ngam2 biting slippers. Orang tua bilang, so that they get scared with biting slippers. Tapi, macam teda kesan ja oh hahaha

hehe..thats why i need more than a pair of flip flops. my cats pun suka gigit2 my slippers..tp x sampai putus, just terkoyak & hiasan2 dia mcm yg bunga2 or beads tu tercabut ni..huhu..nasib baik those cats are cute..hehe..
kalau cat yg gigit, nampak tu bekas gigitan ja but still wearable kan…ini kalo dogs, tiada ampun bah aemy.

iya kasi mix n match..sebab banyak suda gia yang putus tu..ermm mmg sakit hati bh kan tu flip flop kena gigit tapi pa ble buat..

terer oo dorg gigit kan, suda la clean bite nmpak mcm baru lg tau2 putus suda, terus same side punya lg kena gigit.. haha..
like the warden in my hostel used to say,”educated dogs”.. anjing d hostel kami pandai tarik baju org bjemur buat selimut xD
but what ever they do, I still love my dogs.. haha

Iya cath sakit hati…kalau yg harga 5 ringgit ja kali tida la berapa sakit hati…but yes, mau marah berabis pun susah juga…sendiri punya salah juga bah bcos tia pandai simpan tempat yg betul2 dorang tida buli reach.
