Happy Mother’s Day!
I didn’t get to celebrate with my mama since she’s in kampung. 
Mom and I during my 30th birthday 4 years ago.
I get to celebrate mommy’s day with Mom In Law anyway.

On a different story but similar note, I find Gunaqz entry something that we should take note. Everyone’s different you see. You can wish me on Mother’s Day and am not feeling offended but not everyone feels the same and I think we should be more sensitive on this. Some people went through unpleasant experiences that leave scars. Mine could have been healed (although I assure you it hasn’t), but others may not. So yes, just a friendly reminder to us on this matter. Be (very) tactful. Peace y’all!

What happened today,
I asked my little sisters “Tahu ka hari ni hari apa?”
Both “hari Ibu lah”
Me again “Sudah wish sama mummy? sudah peluk & cium pipi?”
They both rushed to mom.
Awww.
Abang dorang sudah peluk dan cium mummy ka juga?

Thank you for the wish chegu… Ya la chegu.. Things could be become sensitive.. Sigh.. I been thru the situation and sometimes thinking twice before wishing.. Take care..
My pleasure cath…i think kalau the person kita sudah tau she doesnt mind being wish, ok bah. jangan saja yg kita tidak biasa…best to stay away from wishing la kan.

Thank you for the wish. I never wish Happy Mother’s Day to those who are yet to be a mother. Kalu dia bunting2 suda pun, sa tidak ucap tu
Mother’s Day dedicated to all mothers yang suda ada anak (anak sendiri or angkat - sama juga), to me lah.
…one more thing, do we wish Happy Mother’s Day to a mother who lost her child? Sa tidak pasti apa mau buat
I think if we feel awkward and unsure, best to keep our lips tight.

Read Gunaqz’s post, and I’ve never try to make people tersinggung. Not even by sarcasm. And before wishing to people, I make sure that I wish to the correct ones. Although I may have slipped sometimes because of cuai or something.
But ya, I agree with you. Sensitivity is very important.
btw, you know Heidi Labadin?
Yes, I do know Heidi. She is among first bloggers I know when I started blogging via Multiply.com
