I survived the drought
Tuesday 1726
My palms, both left and right have been in great itchiness the past one week or so.
Superstitious or not, I love to believe that it is a sign.
Yes, a sign.
To shop.
Or perhaps save.
In fact, the right palm is itchy at the moment I’m typing this.
(Yeah, yeah…never think that it might be other reasons that causing the itchiness…like, allergy or something)
But of course, I tend to think it is more on the spendthrift part.
I’ve been wanting to go shopping for quite some time now.
And the ‘want’ heightens more these days since it’s gonna be few more days before the pay day.
I have been salary-less since September, remember?
You ask me how it feels to be salary-less.
I tell you, it’s agony with capital A, font 100!!
I refuse to go to the malls. Or if I do, trying very hard not to look at boutiques, shoe shops, book stores, etc, etc.
Refuse to click on online shopping websites.
And not even want to browse on fashion magazines.
Heck, I haven’t even buy my October edition of Women’s Weekly. Well, at least I can still find it albeit almost November at Signature. They ALWAYS have enough stocks of that particular magazine.
*sigh*
Oukay, maybe it ain’t really that bad but yeah, not having my usual amount of money to be spend is kind of agonizing.
Especially when I am used to spend on certain things on monthly basis.
This ‘dry season’ makes me think gazillion times before the decision for a purchase is made. A very contrary situation to what I am used to - impulse buying.
But.
I must say I am proud of myself (and the hubby who have to give support to his penny-less wife).
I am able to refrain myself to rely on the ‘pisau ajaib’ too much when I’m low in cash.
So no, for the many times I told myself, I am NO Becky Bloomwood.
Yours truly is highly anticipating the next pay on Monday.
I am so gonna go crazy on shopping.
You just wait. *scratching right palm*

me also dreadful drought.. another 5 days to go.
but i do need to save.
nway, i like ur mind map point ‘rim-less ready glasses’.. heheheh.. i nid to change my glasses.. pemandangan kabur2 da ni. ya.. almost 4 yrs ba with d same deg.

25th is the day kan? November awal gaji lagi..nahhhh..lagi siok tapi..December hujung bulan gaji…huhu

eh yakah? awal pula gaji in nov. hmmm…december bukan usually around the 18th kaitu…just before christmas…hehehe kena hafal bah tu tarikh gaji kan kunu….

I know exactly how that feel… wanting to shop but having to refrain due to “dry season”!! I know exactly! I am feeling that now!

tapak tgn sa gatal2 hari tu then my friend said, ko dpt duit nie..few day after that sa jumpa duit di jalan..RM100 lgi tu..phew..
Nah itu laitu sa selalu ingat..kalau gatal2 tu tapak tangan, sama ada duit mo masuk atau duit keluar. buli tahan ko oh, tejumpa rm100…kalau time2 kering, berharga sangat2 tu

Sia this mth dpt gaji half ja coz advance raya last mth. Teruk jg la bln ni. Tp ujung bln dpt gaji and duit kutu!!! Shopping!! Revamp wardrobe! hahahah..
wahh duit kutu! kami pun ada buat tu but my giliran sudah limpas. kena spent tu duit kutu di perth hehehe

Can’t wait for monday too! I wish I had ur ’strength’ to not buy. I bought books worth hundred ringgits from ebay on my mom’s credit card. i need help!
i really have to tahan lah manda…if not, die lah kami laki bini kalau i keep on spending eventho teda duit ni. and my credit card, byk kena guna masa di perth so i dont want anymore debts before the next pay.

Oh macam husband sa la tu…lepas tu pakai cheque, mau tnggu 2-3 days mau cleared.
Last time, before I worked with the govt…mcm tu juga lah payment mode sa…and then tiada date yg fix lagi tu bila kena bayar…..so yeah, can understand apa kamu rasa.
