Hey ho!
I am back from the weekend off at the big city.

The trip to KL was actually to attend hubby’s nephew’s First Holy Communion.
It was scheduled on the 4th Oct but 3 weeks earlier, we were told the event is postponed to the next week - that’s next Saturday.
Since, we have purchased the tickets and there is no way we could change the itinerary without having to pay extra money, we decided to go on and have this trip as our Jalan2 Cari Makan trip.
Well, we thought of going to Nandos, Chilies and all the nice eateries that obviously can’t be found in KK.
But in the end, with time constraint, we only managed to had our lunch at Nandos.

We even planned on meeting you bloggers in KL but alas, we only met Daniel and Emelda as well as my former classmate back in 1993.
Too many things to do yet too short a time.

Shopping?
Of course I did.
And it was even fun when Mel was also in the mood to shop that day when we met.
Her shopping mood is so contagious.
She went into Face Shop to buy make ups, I tagged along and we both came out with Face Shop plastic on each hand.
She went into Chamelon to buy accessories, I tagged along and we both happily came out with our own purchase.
She went into Vincci to buy shoes, luckily I wasn’t tempted cos I’ve been spending so much on shoes this month.
My big purchase would be my Guess handbag at 40% off.

We (particularly I) wanted to go Ikea but hubby’s sister a.k.a. our transport was not free to get us there.
So, Daniel was kind enough to accompany us to go there and stayed with us until it was time for us to get back for dinner.

Makan bubur chu chap for breakfast at Petaling Street.

Kami punya Mr & Mrs Transport ada appointment that day, so had to resolve to public transport. Satu keluarga naik bus sampai buli salah naik itu Tour Bus lagi. Ha!

Sudah pusing2 naik turun bus, lapar balik. Lunch (for the kids) at 1130 am.

First day shopping bags. Ok lagi. Second day punya, don’t dare to take picture. Ha!

Later, met up with my former Form 3 classmate, Tajul, who is originally from Seremban. We have not been seeing each other since 1994 (or was it 1995).

And of course, picture with both Daniel and Emelda.
Kenny Sia was there because he was Mel’s ‘date of the day’ and we managed to steal him for some pictures.
And no, I did not squeal in horror when meeting him like the last time I saw him at RWMF 2009.
Although, I almost wanted to say, “Hi Kenny, I am the girl who got shrieked out at you at RWMF demanding for a picture together” but decided not.
I wouldn’t want him to reply, “Who??” would I?

Us again with hubby.

Final night in KL, dad treated us to a family dinner as well as belated birthday dinner for the hubby at Marco Polo hotel.
The three siblings really had fun and laughter reminiscing their childhood memories, unlocking all the little secrets they’ve shared during those times. Ha!
