My Raya
Tuesday 1104
Heyho!
Happy Tuesday to all (already?)!
I guess, yesterday’s Monday was the best Monday ever for those who treat Monday as ‘black’. Ha!
It’s the third day of Shawal and I have only been to one Raya Open House.
Not that friends didn’t invite us but there were things going on on first and second day of Raya.
Hubby’s Godson’s Rite of Baptism was on first day of Raya.
On the second day, yours truly assisted hubby to photograph both Nadia and Kris on their engagement day.
Some pictures on those two days.

Godfather and his Godson, Joshua.

Joshua’s mommy took this picture. (Noticed my wind-effect hair?)
Joshua’s elder sister, Samantha, is my Goddaughter.
But, I haven’t been a good Godmother to her for not visiting her often (only on occasions).
So, it was only natural for her to give me that stranger-deserves-a-stare look.
I made it a point to buy something for her when we meet during dinner so she and I will get more acquainted to each other.
And I think, I did win her heart a little.
The parents weren’t pleased though. ![]()
Her Godmother ‘bribed’ her with candies and obviously the Goddaughter would want to eat ‘em straight away.
Sugar boost!

Devouring ketupat and satay at the buffet dinner.
The next day was Nadia and Kris’s engagement day at Shangri La Bandaran Hotel.
It was my first time witnessing an engagement done in a hotel.
Of course the environment was kind of different from one held at home but it was a happy occasion nonetheless, with some of Nadia and Kris’ relatives being familiar faces to us.
Nadia’s dress as well as her mother and Kris’ mother’s dresses were made of material that specially flown away from Indonesia since Kris’ mom’s relatives could not made it to that event.
Awesome but I have to let you all wait for the pictures once the hubby is done with the final processing.
Until next post!
*hugs*

I think Sacred Heart cathedral is the only Cathedral/church which has a painted cross.
Its unique, and pretty nice to be exact.
Owh is it?
Come to think of it, you could be right.
I haven’t seen any other churches around here with painted cross.
